Exchange Programme Rhône-Alpes

Every year an artist-in-residence programme takes place between the partner regions Baden-Württemberg and Rhône-Alpes, as a result of the Arts Foundation’s cooperation with the Institut Français Stuttgart and art3 in Valence.

The programme consists of a 3-month residency at art3 in Valence and the Kunststiftung of Baden-Württemberg in Stuttgart respectively. For the duration of three months an artist from Rhône-Alpes comes to Stuttgart and, in return, an artist from Baden-Württemberg goes to Valence. The purpose of the exchange is to encourage artists to enter in a cultural and creative dialogue with each region and build an international network.
