Organisational Bodies
Based in Stuttgart, the Kunststiftung Baden-Württemberg was established as a non-profit, limited liability company. This organisational structure was selected in order to give the Foundation an ideal and broad financial basis for realising its mission: providing support to young artists from around the state. Accordingly, approximately 200 partners have been involved in the Foundation from the very beginning. Moreover, an advisory board making guiding decisions for Foundation and functions both as an executive board and as a board of trustees.
Represented in both bodies are all political parties as well as the directions of cultural institution and artists. The executive director coordinates and organises the work of the Foundation.
